What should I bring?
Ohio fishing license
Sunglasses, hat, jacket, rain gear
White soft sole shoes only, no black soles
Food and beverages (one cooler per party please)
Please no glass bottles or hard liquor, beer is okay, please drink in moderation for safety sake
Camera
Motion sickness medication – recommend starting this the night before your trip and again that morning
Cooler to take your fish home (leave in car)
 
Can I bring my own rods and tackle?
Many anglers prefer their own rods and reels, but if you do not we can provide them for you at no extra costs. We will have all the tackle that you need. If you do decide to bring your own please limit yourself to one tackle box per group.
 
Can I cancel if I feel the weather is too bad?
Cancellation due to weather is solely at the Captain’s discretion. If this does occur, another date will be offered or your deposit will be refunded.
 
Tips
Are totally acceptable and appreciated. First mates work for tips and are on board to provide you with customer service.
 
How long is the fishing day?
A typical fishing day is 8 to 9 hours.
 
Are there any age restrictions?
There are no age restrictions. Just keep in mind that the charter is on the water for a full day (8 to 9 hours) and that young children may loose interest. In that case, parents could bring a video game or similar for them to play when the fishing may be slow.
 
What is the maximum amount of people that are permitted on your charter?
The type of charter license allows us to take a maximum of 6 persons of board, though some prefer to fish with less.
 
Where can I get a license?
You can purchase you license from various bait and tackle stores in the area.
